Thank you for supporting the St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts!

Dear Friends,

The St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts (a 501-C3 organization) will be applying for grants to assist in bringing the creative arts, music, theatre and dance to our students. We also seek our community support.

Our student’s, who are given the opportunity to succeed through the Arts , are empowered through greater self-esteem. This in turn enriches success in several academic and personal areas throughout their lives. The shortfall of funding for the Arts in public schools has put many of our children in a disheartening position. This loss of opportunity may lead to a search for other areas to fit in. Unfortunately the street corner or neighborhood gang might be the only place for the child to experience a sense of belonging.

The St Augustine Community School of Performing Arts (SACSPA) will fill a much-needed void in our children’s lives and community. From program conception these lessons and practice skills will lead to a much-anticipated public performance, SACSPA will leave no child behind. The St Augustine Community School of Performing Arts hopes to build each child’s self-esteem and offer a true sense of belonging and accomplishment to our children, our families and to our community.
