- Annette Danielson: Suzuki and Traditional Piano, Director of Choirs
Annette has a bachelor of fine arts degree in piano performance with minors in harpsichord and voice from Virginia Commonwealth University with her Masters work done in Piano Pedagogy (teaching). She is co-founder of the Suzuki Piano Program in the Community School of Performing Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University, and has taught piano for nearly thirty years. From the late 1990’s until 2005, Annette directed choirs in the rural communities of south-central Virginia through her Southside Virginia Community School of Performing Arts, which is the precursor of SACSPA.
- Kevin Baetz: Guitar, Drums, Band, and Theatre
Kevin has over thirty years experience in music, theatre, and teaching. He studied and worked in New York City for over ten years. Kevin was a key acting student at HB Studios in Greenwich Village, NYC under academy award nominee William Hickey. He’s worked as a studio and instrument technician for Saturday Night Live, The David Letterman Show, Lena Horne, Bruce Springsteen, The Ramones, Miles Davis, and many others. A professional drummer and co-founder of the band Bongo King, their CD ”Operation Latin Surf,” was a critical success. While working at Gloria Dei Church and Academy, in Davie Florida, he was twice awarded employee of the year and teacher of the year. His positions included church music director, worship leader for the contemporary service, and music teacher for grades K - 8. Over the five years as director of the concert band, membership grew from eight to fifty. Kevin also taught Adult Guitar and Vocal workshops for the City of Pembroke Pines, FL and was Artistic Director for the Summer Theatre Camp series in the town of Davie, FL.
- Linda Stoler, MA, CCC-Sp/L: Language and Early Literacy Skills, Multi-Modality Method
Linda has been a speech and language pathologist for forty years. She is the developer of the Multi-Modality Method that brings parent and child together using music, dance, sign language, and poetry to identify and overcome natural barriers to learning. Linda also trains teachers to become certified in her method.
