suzuki method

What is Suzuki Music?

Suzuki music is a Japanese approach to teaching the classics. Students begin as young as three years old developing their listening skills and musical technique. They also develop their music-reading skills in a group format using fun games and musical activities.

At first, Suzuki students will perform beyond their ability to read music, but as they become better at reading music they will possess already the ability to play the more complex music they are learning to read.

The Suzuki method teaches not only music and how to play it well; it teaches the love of music.
